REDEEM YOUR FLORIDA SWIM VOUCHER

 Swim Dynamic has partnered with the state of Florida to offer lessons through the Florida Swim Voucher Program.  This program was designed to increase water safety and prevent drowning in Florida by providing free swimming lessons to eligible Florida families.

• use the button below to email us 
• include a copy of your voucher
• we will verify your voucher and reach out to help you get scheduled for swim lessons

What is needed to apply for a voucher?

• Proof of income (gross family income of no more than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines)
• Proof of Florida residency
• Child’s date of birth (only children ages seven and younger at the time of application are eligible)

Swim Dynamic has partnered with Every Child A Swimmer to offer lessons through their scholarship program.  The purpose of this program is to prepare young children to be safer in, on, and around bodies of water by teaching water safety skills that could ultimately save lives.  Upon completion of the program, participants should be able to perform key swimming skills and achieve measurable results.

What is needed to apply for a scholarship?

• Proof of income (a family of 4 must show meal voucher or most recent tax return w/ annual income of $55,500 or less to qualify)
• Child must be at a learn-to-swim level
• Child’s date of birth

Children ages 3 to 18 who reside within the City of Lakeland may qualify for a limited number of scholarship openings at Simpson Park Pool or Gandy Pool. Eligibility is based on household income and proof of city residency.

• Residency Note: Children living in Lakeland Housing Authority complexes automatically meet the residency requirement.
• How to Apply: Complete a CDBG Application (available through the Parks & Recreation Department) and return it directly to Simpson Park Pool or Gandy Pool.
• Important: These lessons are held exclusively at City pools and are not located at Swim Dynamic.

Registration is processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee approval or placement in the program.
